You
owe it to yourself to see the incredible and beautiful dunes along
Lake Michigan in northwestern Indiana. Check out the lake,
the dunes, bogs, marshes and more at Indiana Dunes National
Lakeshore or Indiana Dunes State Park.
If you're feeling adventurous try sport fishing on big water with
one of the many Lake Michigan Charter Captains.
While heading north perhaps you'd like to stop off at Indiana
Beach amusement park. There you can enjoy rides, roller coasters,
games, swimming and a water park. It's fun for children and adults
alike, and there are loads of RV campgrounds nearby.
With
over thirty Indiana State Parks and Reservoirs,
many with RV campgrounds, there is no shortage of outdoor recreation
opportunities in our great state. In northeastern Indiana you
can enjoy boat rentals, swimming, fishing, hiking, and much more
at Pokagon, Chain O'Lakes and Potato Creek State Parks.

You can enjoy Formula One racing, the world-famous Indy
500, the Brickyard 400, and many other sporting events.
If it's horses you want to see race, try Hoosier Park in Anderson
or Indiana Downs between Shelbyville and Indianapolis. Or head
south and check out the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs
in Louisville.
How
about a trip down to the French Lick area? Enjoy golf or
horseback riding at the French Lick Springs Resort, take a tour
of the historic West Baden Springs Dome, then enjoy a unique
round trip ride on a vintage train at the Indiana Railway Museum.
From there it's just a short drive south to Patoka Lake,
Indiana's second largest and most beautiful lake. Rent a boat
from a marina, or enjoy hiking, biking and much more.
